Title: Untitled

by Hannah | in writing, poetry

Wine coloured evenings warmed by the sun,
Deep velvet nights of when we were young,
Blank unwritten sheet lay on the bed,
Coffee gone cold, come the next day.

Come make me rise,
Come watch me fall,
Buy me some time and memories for her,
Keep them for a rainy day,
Promise you will not change these words.

Come bring your heart,
Come smile at me,
Come make me laugh, please make me see,
Come take me back to the days when i was a child.

This poem comes from a song I wrote a while back. My inspiration came from sitting outside as the sun went down with an old friend would made me very happy. It shows that friendship is a strong bond between two people, and no matter what happened they will be there by your side. I am fortunate enough to have many special friendships.
