Title: Lady Violets ventures
by Catriona from South Yorkshire | in writing, fiction
It was 10am on Chelmsley Terrace and all the finely adorned ladies of prestige, were taking their morning strolls. Today the sun shone brightly and the crisp autumn leaves blew in the breeze.
The once tall majestic oaks stood as colourless skeletal figures. Time seemed to pause as a carriage pulled up outside no 32. And out of that carriage stepped Lady Violet Satherston.
Her taffeta dress primly showing her trimmed waist. And her eyes shining like diamonds in the bright sun light. All eyes were on her as she arranged her skirt and curtseyed to all whom beheld her.
Cranford and other period dramas.
