I would never have met Luke if I hadn't used that public toilet. It sounds odd when I say it now but it's true. If I hadn't decided to go and take a piss then I wouldn't have met Jake and I wouldn't have seen Luke. It's strange how fate seems to follow you about when you're least suspecting it. I mean come on, a public toilet. Give me a break. Who would have thought though that love could spring from an unhygienic, grossly smelling public facility? Well by the miracles of God or whatever you want to call it, I did find love and it's all thanks to that well placed bathroom outside Hyde Park.
I was inspired to write a real life story of what it's like to be a teenager and discover yourself and who you really are. I didn't want to doing any pretending, I wanted to write something that told life as it is for teenagers and hopefully that's what I've done.
