Title: You To
by Robbie from Scotland | in writing, poetry
If you were a colour you'd be red, I guess.
Brightening wherever you are,
Usually.
Having the opposite effect when
you yourself are dark.
People pay attention to you.
If you were a day you'd be Saturday, for the same reasons.
If I found you in my wallet you'd be a
£20 I forgot I had.
Perhaps a photo,
to someone else I know.
To weather you're sun through
clouds after the rain, even though
you know
it'll probably rain again.
And you're a bridge across something that need never
have been bridged. But I don't mind that.
Wrote this at a creative writing day a while back. It's meant to be about loving someone, despite the flaws. Or that's the idea, anyway.
