Crystal drops
Shatter all around
One moment of perfection
One moment of ruin
Each patter a song
Such a short journey
Such straightforward lives
Do those raindrops have
So is the feeling
The feeling of falling
Enough to count?
For one drop's journey
One drops life
Just one time through
Not but to do
A life so short
A life so simple
That one path
The best of all?
Listening to the rain at five in the morning.
