The cold wind blows, so softly that it barely stirs the grand trees that are stripped naked of there red leaves by winter's ways.
The long night calls, smothered in a sea of darkness, a sea that does not create fear or tension but safety and peace, a darkness that one uses to clear his overwhelmed head after a stressful day.
A slow walk down a deserted path just the wind blowing along side him likes a faithful pet dog following blindly. The rains gentle touch lands softly on his hands, the stress being slowly washed away from his face, and the darkness he never forgets the darkness as he walks slowly into the unknown. For it is not the darkness he fears, it is what lurks within the darkness, with his armour of bravery, he walks on, so ever slowly into the night
