Title: Different
by Chris from Suffolk | in writing, poetry
Liviing in a world of music
In a wavelength of my own
tuning in to random stations trying to find my tone
being so different its hard to find alone.
All the do is point and stare
they laugh and they glare
The mark that they leave
they could never percieve
Because im different, the way they look at me
Others like me, do they get it too?
The abuse, the gestures and the pain?
Or is it that the abusers are the jelous type?
The way i look its all my choice
what i love and the music i listen to, the same
they make their choices just as i make mine
they pretend, they lie, i know what they're like.
But they judge me upon their first sight
'Self Harmer!' 'Wrist Cutter!' they shout to me
So many words just because i look different to them
others like me get worse, sometimjes even killed
Just because the way we look
It hurts, it tears me up, brought me close
To the end of my road, ever so close
because of other people i have hurt so much
the have killed people because of how they judge
Today its gotten out of hand
some can get killed for being different
or even something so little as a different taste in music...
The news of the deaths of the people who were murdered just as they were different, and into Emo or Metal music...
