Title: Is it Jack?

My heart still beats
But I don't feel it
My lungs still breathe
But I don't hear them
Lying awake at night
This feeling deep inside of me
It's been here for a while now
But I don't know what it could be
Is it love?
This feeling that won't go away?
Is it loss?
Has something important gone away?
I try to put a name to this feeling
But all I get for trying
Is the same name
Beating with my heart
Again and again
Is it Jack?
Who's making me feel this way?
Is it Jack?
Who should never have gone away?
I mainly get inspiration from my 3 favourite TV shows and I also sometimes mimic the rhythms of old English poetry
