Title: The shed

by Rachel from Norfolk | in writing, fiction

There was weariness about that place, a tiredness trodden in by the passing winters. A few of the shafts in the roof had broken, allowing through streams of icy, watery light. Specs of dust caught up in the sun danced and swirled to the tune of memories past, floating across, down and around. An old chair tucked away in the corner had become warped by its surrounding conditions, bent and twisted, it echoed a time of careless fun and laughter. But, it was the walls of that old shed, those walls poured out shadows of the children that once played; the lovers that once danced and the tired that once sat and remembered the times gone by.

I went for a bit of a ramble and came across this old shed and I sat down and went for a bit of descriptive writing... what do people think? This is my first post :s.
