Title: Unpredictable

by Poppy from London | in writing, fiction

His face. So beautifully crafted, every dimple, every crease in his smile. Lewis a name, so fine. Her heart fluttered, the butterflies in her stomach whizzed around. 'Hey are you ok? Tessie right?' His voice, so calming sent a chill down her spine. She stuttered, her face turning crimson as she struggled to find the words. The words to tell him of her mad love, her crave for his affection. For the brush of his sweet, sweet lips against hers. For the comfort of his strong muscular arms around her. 'Yeah, Tessie' She mumbled, turning from pink to a blazing red. Quickly she rushed of, dying inside, she groaned inwardly at her stupid reply. Regaining her composure she ran the rest of the way home.
'Tessie, are you back? I have some dinner here if you want it,' Shouted her mum, slamming the door behind her. 'Yeah, doing homework, one sec I'm just coming down' she yelled back. In actual fact she wasn't doing her homework and did not intend on doing it. Instead Tessie was trying on her new top, her new top that her mother would never allow. At the dinner table Tessie's mum seemed to be in a good mood so she asked her if she could go to a party that weekend. The party was her best friend Belle's and together they had been planning it all week. 'I trust parents will be there?' Her mum inquired. Tessie new this question would be coming, she and Belle had pleaded with Belle's parents to go to the pub whilst they were having the party. ' Belle's parents are going to the pub, but Belle's brother is going to be there' Belle's brother was in the year above his name was Tony and he was a legend throughout the whole school. Every girl wished he were there boyfriend, whilst every boy wished they were more like him. Secretly Tessie liked him too, but she would rather be locked in a room full of starving snakes and lions (her worst fear) than tell Belle or anyone else for that matter. 'I suppose so, just make sure you do all of your homework before, oh and your room is looking interesting'. Tessie rolled her eyes, and mumbled a reply.
This was it, her one chance. This night could change everything. Belle had helped Tessie get ready; she was wearing her new top, and make-up. As she came out of Belle's room Tony walked past his eyes widened as he saw Tessie. 'Hey, you err coming to the party later?' He turned red at his own question. He rapidly went to his room shutting the door behind him. Tessie blushed, yet again and went back into Belle's room. The party was meant to start at 7:30, and then finish at 11:30; she and Belle had been setting up all afternoon. They had made a playlist and carried Belle's £200 worth stereo down to the living room. They had bought piles of food and fizzy drinks. Some of the guests were bringing drink. Personally Tessie hated the stuff, but she knew she had to drink. It was just a rule, everyone drank at parties. Belle had invited some of Lewis's friends, casually saying Lewis was welcome too. He was coming.
The party was in full swing, Tessie was dancing with Lewis. After hours of hiding in the corner, Lewis had come up to her and offered her a drink. Tessie accepted she was already pretty drunk; she stumbled on to the dance floor. Lewis had his arms around her waist occasionally his hands would wander to her bum. Lewis leaned over and whispered in her ear. 'Lets go outside' Tessie nodded her head, oblivious to the obvious. Once outside Lewis grabbed hold of her. Smothering her with kisses, his hands going everywhere. Tessie protested, muttering no, her voice climaxed. Lewis now had her against a tree, he had somehow taken her top off. It lay on the grass. Tessie was crying silently, tears cascaded down her face. She struggled against him, she could hear his breath hot and fast. Over and over again she said no and please. Until the words were no longer words. She was aware of every sound every movement. A sudden thump, and the sound of shuffling made Tessie open her eyes. Tony was punching Lewis. Both were shouting and fighting, 'Don't you ever, ever, ever, go near my sister or her friend again' Every word accompanied by a punch or kick. Lewis grabbed hold of a bottle of beer, smashing it against a table. Standing weapon in hand Lewis came towards Tony. The anger and sweat was an aurora around him. Tessie ran, as fast as she could. 'No' one word, one syllable. Tessie ran in front of Tony. Falling to the ground Tessie heard voices. They became fainter and fainter. Tessie became unconscious.
