Title: You are?

by Selom from London | in writing, poetry

Naive mistakes that we create.

The world in this time,
steps back a thousand years.
War and destruction,
pain and fears.

Why do we tell these monstrous lies?
These white lies turn larger and larger,
greyer and darker.
They turn into black, murderous lies, evil that consumes us to cease existence.

"That doesn't sound all bad"
Yes it does.

To live a lie, is to live a lie.
To tell a lie could leave someone to die.
Perhaps not, maybe it could.

Cast aside your differences,
with your hate inflicted groups.
As far as I know,
everybody uses each others ideas.
The world would be very silent, still.

Just because I would be copying your verse in a song,
or just a simple word.

I won't breathe then.

"Oh, how life is a misery, a cult of demolishment.
I shall wear what I want to wear, something different from you.
Suddenly, oh so suddenly I get transformed into an animal, blood sucking sadist.

Let me think for myself,
have a logical opinion.
Let me be my own and listen to my own.

I get accused of listening to "death", head banging, gothic music.

How may I ask?

An attack against society,
our own kind.

Human.

If we want to run around with tracksuits hanging half way down our bottoms,
don't advice the right size.
If we want to wear baggy clothes or merely clothes that fit!

Don't tell us to get a fashion sense.

We all think differently,
we all have different kinds of control,
but you already knew that.

Don't blame your mistakes on others,
don't make it a habit.
Learn from your flaws,
but you'll always have them.

Lie as much as you want,
deep down inside, it eats you alive.

Want to be NORMAL?
Become a washing machine.
Want to be yourself?
Then be yourself.
