Title: Silent thoughts, part 1

by Evan from Kent | in writing, fiction

That house. I walk past it every day but not once have I seen someone inside it. I hear screams as I walk past it but it seems I am the only one who hears those screams. Am I going crazy? I just don't know any more. My name is Phil and I moved here six months ago. Two days ago I started having weird dreams and ever since then I hear screams from that house. The dreams involve blood and weird evil things but they are a bit blurry. I can't make sense of it and it seems that I am being haunted. What can I do to stop this? I haven't had a good night's sleep for three days. What's weird is the dreams I have seem to involve the same surroundings like an old house but I can't tell what house it is. The surroundings are clear but the spirits are blurry. Wait, could that house be? Phil walks through his front door after unlocking it and throws his keys on the table by the front door. Phil checks his answering machine and sees he has one message. He presses the button. 'Urrrrrrrrrrr' a monster scream came from the machine. 'What the hell was that?' Phil steps back a step in confusion. His sight becomes blurry and he develops an instant migraine. He sees a strange figure hovering above the ground in front of him. He can't move or speak. The figure gives off a monstrous scream. The figure goes to grab him. Just before the figure does, it disappears. Phil's migraine disappears and he gains his sight back. 'That scream, it's the same one I heard from that house..' Phil turns silent for a moment after discovering he remembers that scream from the house. Phil then starts to turn dizzy and he falls to the floor and turns unconscious.

After playing multiple horror games and watching movies, I decided to make a story. Plus I wrote this when I was in year 11 last year, so it's not perfect and a bit old. But it was one of my first so have a read. This is the first part.
