Title: Life

by Josh from Norfolk | in writing, poetry

When life looks down,
And seems really glum,
I just look at myself and say,
What have I done?

I look in the mirror,
And say to myself,
Just who am I?

There's a fly on the wall,
I ignore it,
And it makes me wonder,
Is that what people do to me?

And, if I am ignored,
What do people say about me behind my back?

I sometimes think I worry too much,
But then I think,
What if I don't?
And what I think is true?

Do people like me?

Or dislike me?

Do they adore me?

Or abhor me?

Am I appreciated?

Or depreciated?

What is life to a simple boy like me?

I was feeling like my friends didn't actually like me. I felt alone. I wanted others to know how I felt, so I wrote this.
