Title: Light In Every Darkness.
by David from Essex | in writing, poetry, lyrical
Darkness comes thick and black,
Dropping droplets of due down through my skull.
Into the rivers of blood and strain,
Veins taught with anguish and lust.
Brutal life breached walls of skin,
Slime and sin flood my mind.
Gathering speed with tears and troubles.
There will be dark in the light.
There will be dark in the lightest places of this world.
Yet lights dazzle brilliant memory,
Soft as a moth laced wing that swung its way through my mind,
Bringing hope and happiness,
Love and life, freedom and delight.
Dawn always breaks the dark of night.
There will be light in the darkest of places.
There will be hope in the darkest of times.
Light in every darkness?
I lied.
