Vaguely listening to all three artists, Ed Sheeran’s music awakened my senses with his fresh, vibrant new sounds that combine two unlikely genres of hip hop and folk. Eds original music is full of flair and has captured my attention, leading me to choose this artists over the others. Ed seems to have a real passion for music. I can imagine Ed loosing himself into his own unique, colourful and irrational world of his own, as his mind conjures up new lyrics, beats and sounds. To capture this moment of transition as he leaves the real world into his own, I have blurred and manipulated a portrait of Ed. I noticed a paw print on Eds acoustic guitar. This provoked me to question whether Ed had an unknown love for animals. The paw seemed significant to Eds lifestyle. I have filled the paw with a leopard texture that has been manipulated to a more abstract and colourful pattern. The paw is blended into the background. Ed could not emphasise more on his love for colour, I have used the brightest, and my favourite, colour yellow with pigments of other colours as the background. Hope you think my ideas are original.
