I was inspired by the photo of the "Tower Of Nuestra Senora De Guadaupe at Sunset, and bay of banderas, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico" by John Merrill. I used the colours of the sunset as the main colours of my design. The black curvey shape represents the tower in the photo. The purple and black and light pink flowers were ment to represent the beauty of Mexico (beachs, and nature for example). The poppy shape folowers were inspired by the Mexican Poppy. Matthew Williamson's work inspired me to use bright strong colours and patterns. The material I would of used is silk for the dress, the shape is designed as a summer dress for the heat of Mexico.
