I got the inspiration for my dress from the traditional Mexican dresses and patterns. Also how Matthew Williamson puts a pattern on a plain coloured background which I think looks effective. Also I got the colour scheme from this picture of a sunset in Mexico. I have combined different ideas to create my design.
