The inspiration for my design was not necessarily based on a specific aspect of Mexico, I tried to incorporate different characteristics of Mexico into one dress. The most significant part of my sketch is that I didn't want it to end up as a typical 'Mexican dress', that wouldn't be very imaginative - it wouldn't be very me. I wanted to create a dress that had a touch of rock n roll feel, yet still holding its Mexican flare.
