This dress is inspired by long, warm Mexican day's spent by the river, it draws inspiration from the wonderful flowing dresses of the Mexican women, it is slightly fitted like the elegant Mexican wedding dresses and is the colour of the sky on a warm sunny day.The detail on the dress is a colourful beaded flower on satin, very much like the traditional Mexican geometric shapes.The dress has a gorgeous layered effect which brings it in to the twenty-first century, the dress would be made from a cotton/viscose mix for the drape of the dress and comfort.Also pictured is a shall to be worn with the dress, it would be woven, using colourful natural wool.
