I came up with the idea for the squash bag because when you flatten the juice containers they make clever panels that I could use to make any garment or accessory. I decided to make a bag because the panels could fit together easily. Making the bag turned out to be easier than I expected and the foil packages were surprisingly easy to sew. I think that because of the materials I used and by cello taping every seam beforehand for extra strength then sewing them on the sewing machine my squash bag has become a hardwearing, iconic bag.
