My inspiration for the dress came from the girlie dresses I'd seen in glamour magazine. I didn't want my design to be to complex as I didn't have enough time, so I made the design quite simple, using part of a denim skirt for the straps and two pairs of jeans for the skirt of the dress and sum the material from some shorts I made years ago for the kick pleat at the back and the chest part of the dress.
