I wanted my piece to focus on the eco-friendly theme of the competition. For this reason, I not only used patches of denim but also other scraps of fabric, bottle tops, shoelaces and other no longer used materials. I also wanted to create a fashion statement inspired by 50's Rock'n'Roll and the work of Vivienne Westwood.
