This 17 acre site contains mixture of woodland, wetland and grassland.  Grey herons, mute swans and lesser whitethroats are regular visitors to this nature reserve.  The reserve contains clear pools surrounded by mature beech woodland.  Wooded area of sycamore trees.  An oak and beech woodland.  65 acres of countryside only one mile from Brownhills town centre.  Largest oak woodland in Walsall containing some of the largest and oldest oak trees in the borough.
