Hindus believe in one supreme being, called Brahman.
There are many Hindu gods and goddesses. They are different forms of Brahman.

Dana and seva are actions which many Hindus follow.
Dana means giving to others through charity.
Seva means serving others without wanting anything back.
How Hindus show care
Many Hindus share what they have with others.
They practise dana by donating to charity, giving food, money or other items to help people in need.
Hindus show seva in different ways, for example by helping older people to do jobs or giving their time to charity.
Diwali is a religious festival where Hindus celebrate good winning over evil. Many people come together to share this festival with each other.
