Right, grids have two axes. The horizontal axis is called the 鈥榵-axis. And the vertical axis is called the 鈥榶-axis.These axes can be used to find a point on a grid.

So, we just read the coordinates along the horizontal x-axis and then up the vertical y-axis.
Nope don鈥檛 worry so, A is two across the x-axis, and three up the y-axis. So we say 鈥榯wo-three鈥.
Point B has the coordinates 鈥榝our-one鈥 so, to get to the treasure, you have to go two steps to the right, and then two steps down from where you鈥檙e standing.
So let鈥檚 go鈥
That鈥檚 your two steps to the right along the x-axis, and two steps down the y-axis.
