Snoot, you鈥檝e got three stacks of 10 credits, which makes 10鈥 20鈥 30 credits.
And Fin, you鈥檝e got鈥
Well, it鈥檚 a bit hard to tell.
FIN: (ALIEN LANGUAGE)
NARRATOR: That鈥檚 a good idea, Fin.
Arrange your credits into stacks of 10 to make them easier to count.
1 stack of 10鈥 2 stacks of 10.
That leaves 4 credits left over.
Two 10s add 4, equals 24.
To work out how many credits there are altogether, just add 24 to 30.
SNOOT: (ALIEN LANGUAGE)
NARRATOR: That鈥檚 the way, Snoot.
First, count up all the 10s, then count up the units.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 10s make 50, and 1, 2, 3, 4 units make 4.
50 add 4 equals 54.
BOTH: Aha!
NARRATOR: I bet you can buy lots of blobs with those.
(BUBBLING)
NARRATOR: Or 1 mega blob鈥

How can I add two-digit numbers?
Adding two-digit numbers can be tricky.
One way to do it is by counting on.
This is easier if you count on in tens first and then count on in units.
Example
40 + 35 = ?
Count on in tens. 30 is three tens. 40, 50, 60, 70
Now we need to count on in units. There are five units. 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75
So 40 + 35 = 75
