Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants use light energy to make their own food. Chlorophyll in the plant cells traps light energy, then carries out a series of reactions.
Factors affecting respiration
Most cell activity requires chemical energy. Respiration is the cellular process of releasing energy from food. Aerobic respiration releases fifteen times more energy than fermentation.
