Marcus finds out that books can answer questions.
"Who Knows?"
"who Knows?" by Unicorn and Haggis
"I have a question" you say.
"Why does it get dark at night?"
"The world is like a spinning ball. The sun shines on one side. The other side is in shadow. When the place you are in faces the sun, it is daytime.
When the world turns round and away from the sun, it's night-time.
At night we cannot see the sun itself. But we can still see the sun light bouncing back from the moon!
And without the bright sun of daytime, at night we can see the twinkling stars.
"I have another question! Why do some animals wake up at night and play under the starry skies?"
You can have more fun finding out tomorrow! But for now, close your eyes. It's time to sleep.
