The dangers of electricity
Description

Classroom Ideas
Students could explore the dangers of electricity, and how to be safe when using or being around electrical equipment. Show students a picture of a kitchen or living room with a number of electrical dangers, such as an overloaded plug, broken wiring or water near electrical equipment. They could be asked to identify all of these dangers and discuss as a whole class how these could be avoided. Challenge students to use their discussion points to create a list of 鈥榙o鈥 and 鈥榙on鈥檛鈥 when using electrical equipment. These could be displayed in posters made by the students around the school.
