Between 1948 and 1971, many people migrated to Britain from the Caribbean as part of the Windrush generation. The Windrush generation made a big cultural impact on British society.
African and Asian migration
After World War Two, Britain needed to be rebuilt, so offered work to people across the empire. Many people migrated to Britain after the war, for lots of different reasons.
