Make a family tree with Lucy and Nathan.
Lucy: Hi there, I鈥檓 Lucy.
Nathan: And I鈥檓 Nathan. We鈥檙e twins.
Lucy: We鈥檙e eight years old and we鈥檙e the youngest in a really big family.
Nathan: We have loads of fun talking to all our relatives.
Lucy: And they tell us all the things that they got to do when they were eight years old like us.
Nathan: This is Great Grandma.
Lucy: But we call her Gigi.
Nathan: She was eight years old ninety years ago. She鈥檒l show us all the fun things she did in the 1930s, growing up in Manchester.
Lucy: And this is Grandpa.
Nathan: He鈥檚 going to show us what happened to him in the Second World War.
Lucy: Nanna and Gramps moved to Britain from Jamaica and India.
Nathan: They鈥檙e going to show us what it was like when they moved here in the 1950s and 1960s.
Lucy: Then there鈥檚 Mum鈥檚 older brother, Uncle Marcus.
Nathan: He likes to take us camping and tell us all about growing up in the 1970s.
Lucy: Mum and Dad have got loads of stories about growing up in the 1980s and 1990s.
Nathan: And then there鈥檚 cousin Sam and our older sister, Maya. They show us things from the year 2000 until now. We love having such a big family.
Lucy: And we love hearing stories from everyone about what it was like when they were our age.
Nathan: Why don鈥檛 you watch some of our family stories?
Lucy: And then you can ask some of your relatives about what it was like when they were your age.

Why not have a go at filling in your own family tree and colouring it in. Families come in all shapes and sizes and every one is different. Download and print this sheet then talk to your family and see if you can add members of your family to it. There's no correct answer so you can add and delete sections as you need!
