Cal: Painting with primary colours: red, blue and yelloooooow! OK what next? Ooooo a green tree! Wait, I鈥檝e got no green paint. Hey Bunny?
Bunny: Hey Cal. What's up?
Cal: I want to paint that tree in my picture but I鈥檝e got no green paint.
Bunny: Hmmm鈥 No green? Have you tried using slime? I鈥檝e got some if you need some.
Cal: Eww! No thanks Bunny! Hopefully we can think of another way.
Bunny: Hmmm鈥 You could try mixing two colours together!
Cal: Yeah I could give that a go. Let鈥檚 see what happens. Let鈥檚 add鈥 red and blue! They changed colour! Now I鈥檝e got purple!
Bunny: The best colour.
Cal: Yeah I鈥檓 going to add you to the picture. There. That鈥檚 you by the way.
Bunny: Love it.
Cal: OK. Let鈥檚 try making some more new colours.
Bunny: Try blue and yellow.
Cal: Green! Nice one Bunny.
Bunny: Knew it all along Cal. Stick with me kid and you鈥檒l go far.
Cal: That just leaves red and yellow to mix.
Bunny: An orange orange!
Cal: I wonder what other colours we can make?
Bunny: Let鈥檚 get mixing!
Mixing colours
The primary colours are blue, yellow and red. When you mix these colours you can make new colours.
When you mix red and yellow together, you make orange.
When you mix red and blue together, you make purple.
And when you mix blue and yellow together, you make green.
