Other uses of 脿
脌 + a sport
脌 can be used with jouer to mean 'to play a sport'.
Most sports are masculine (le tennis/le foot etc). Therefore 脿 + le tennis becomes au tennis.
je joue au ping pong - I play table tennis
il jouait au foot - He used to play football
脌 + time
脌 can be used to mean 鈥榓t鈥 when telling the time:
脿 cinq heures - at five
脿 minuit/脿 midi - at midnight/at midday
脿 dix heures et quart - at quarter past ten
It can be combined with 箩耻蝉辩耻鈥櫭 to mean until:
il travaille 箩耻蝉辩耻鈥櫭 sept heures - he鈥檚 working until seven tonight
je suis rest茅 箩耻蝉辩耻鈥櫭 la fin du film - I stayed until the end of the film
