Scattergraph
Scattergraphs are used to investigate a relationship between two variables.
Example 1
The heights and weights of twenty children in a class are recorded. The results are shown on the scattergraph below.
Each point on the graph corresponds to one child using the coordinates (Height, Weight). This scattergraph shows a positive correlation.
Example 2
The scattergraph below shows an example of data which has a negative correlation.
