Leading lines are lines within the image that lead the viewer's eye to a focal point, or create an illusion of distance.
They are a useful compositional tool.
A viewer's eyes tend to look for lines and follow them from one end to the other. The effect is particularly strong when different lines come together.
Look for straight lines and curves in your subject. Try using these to emphasiseTo give special attention to something or suggest that it has extra importance key parts of your image and to help create a sense of depth and space.
