Experimenting with photographic images

Producing a photographic print does not have to be the end of your creative process.

There are many ways to experiment with images that can add extra interest, meaning and impact to your work.

This could be as simple as printing your images in different sizes or as complicated as adding a range of other media, or using photographs as part of three dimensional forms.

Examples of experimental techniques

Drawing or painting into your photographic film or onto your prints can add to and embellish your work. You could also print the photos out and then work into them.
