The little words

The little words are the words that you probably use most often and so it’s important to use them correctly.

Some of them link different parts of a sentence, eg:

  • a and ac – and
  • ond – but
  • neu – or
  • achos – because

Question

Link these sentences using the above words:

  1. Dw i'n mwynhau chwarae pêl-droed. Dw i’n mwynhau chwarae rygbi hefyd.
  2. Dw i’n hoffi bwyta pasta. Mae’n flasus iawn.
  3. Codais i’n gynnar. Es i i’r dref.
  4. Wyt ti eisiau gwylio’r teledu? Wyt ti eisiau chwarae gêm gyfrifiadur yn lle?
  5. Dw i’n hoffi ffilmiau comedi. Dw i ddim yn hoffi ffilmiau cowboi.
