Local churches
Local churches are an important part of Christianity. Many Christians visit them regularly and see them as the centre of worship. They are also a place to meet people of the same religion. Local churches can also provide support, so they may be where a Christian turns to in times of need.

Ecumenism
ecumenismThe idea of creating greater unity and closeness between the different denominations of Christianity. refers to a movement towards unity between churches. Local churches often try to connect and come together with other churches in the area or further afield.
