Fancy putting your knowledge of shape visualisation to the test?
Visualisation exercises can improve your problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. These skills are particularly important in careers such as engineering, accounting, teaching and 3D game design.
In this challenge you will be presented with two shapes. It is your job to figure out what shape is created at the section of overlap when the two shapes are combined. To clarify, you are not looking for the overall combined shape 鈥 you are looking for the part of the figure where the two shapes overlap.
Tip: If you find you need a bit of help, why not use some scrap tissue paper cut into the shapes to help see the overlap?
