James is a British Born Chinese – or ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ. He became more interested in his Chinese heritage during secondary school, where he began exploring his identity. He thinks blending aspects of Western and Eastern culture works well, but worries about the younger generation of ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ forgetting their cultural roots. Dragon dancers Silk Screens Festival BirminghamOn Saturday 19th July 2008, Birmingham’s Victoria Square in the city centre will come alive with an array of Chinese culture including; spectacular dragon dancers, Birmingham’s Pak Ming Cantonese Opera with dance, martial arts and Tai Chi groups.
