Despite the cold, hundreds marched Despite the cold weather, thousands lined the streets of Digbeth to catch a glimpse of the annual St. Patrick's Parade on Sunday 15th March 2008. Aside from in Dublin and New York, the Birmingham St. Patrick's Parade is the largest in the world and began just after midday. The procession started at Camp Hill, flowing all the way to the Bullring, before returning to Digbeth. Len Cale as St Patrick A number of highly decorated floats formed the parade, including The Harp Newspaper, Vintage Tractors, Davis School of Irish Dancing and the Sandwell Irish Society group. Similarly, a number of local bands - including the Birmingham Irish Pipes and Drums and The Band of the West Midlands Fire Service - joined visitors The Arklow Marching Band from Ireland and the Pipes of the Irish Guards from London. By the Bullring 成人快手 WM also had a big presence during and after the parade, with Bob Brolly broadcasting live from the procession and Carl Chinn on air later in the afternoon from the Old Crown Pub in Digbeth.
