The three day Gigbeth music festival launched with an opening concert in Digbeth High Street, November 1st 2007.

After an hour delay, Nizlopi were the first to take to the stage in Digbeth High Street. Achanak, Mr. Hudson and the Library, Soweto Kinch and members of the Orchestra of the Swan also performed.

The Gigbeth festival

The Gigbeth festival ran over three days from 1-3 November 2007, playing host to hundreds of gigs at more than 20 venues, showcasing leading names in indie, jazz, soul and gospel, hip hop, folk, drum & bass, bhangra and classical music.Ìý

³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ WM Introducing stage

On the opening night, ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ WM Introducing had their own stage in The Arc room in The Sanctuary. Brite Lites and The Hoi Polloi each performed a live set from 9-11pm.

The entire ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ WM Introducing gig was recorded for broadcast on future shows.
