It's a massive weekend for our local rowers. Already through to finals - Steve Williams and Pete Reed from The Leander club in Henley are part of the men's four who go in the final at 10.30am on Saturday 15 August 2008. Twenty minutes before that the Henley-based double sculls pair of Wells and Rowbotham are in action. Then on Sunday 16 August the men's eight row for glory at 10.30am. In that crew Alex Partridge, Tom Stallard, Matt Langridge and Colin Smith, all from Henley. The all Berkshire women's eight go at 10.10am on Sunday. The crew with perhaps the most expectation upon them is the women's quad. Vernon, Flood, Houghton and Grainger, all from Berkshire - are tipped to win a first ever women's GB rowing gold. They're hoping to write their names into history on Sunday at 9.30am. You can follow the fortunes of all our crews here on 成人快手 Radio Berkshire across the weekend.last updated: 15/08/2008 at 13:51 You are in: Berkshire > People > Olympics > Berkshire's Olympic rowing hopefuls |
