Opera superstar Danielle de Niese makes her debut with ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ NOW as Elle in a semi-staged performance of Poulenc’s powerful one act opera, La voix humaine.

In a nod to his 200th birthday year Bruckner’s Fourth Symphony takes centre stage in the second half of this concert, conducted by our Principal Guest Conductor, Jaime Martín.

Jaime Martín conducts the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ National Orchestra of Wales in dramatic highlights from Prokofiev’s ballet Romeo and Juliet, while Nemanja Radulović sets off fireworks as the soloist in Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto.

What better way to ease ourselves into the 2024-25 Hoddinott Hall season than under the baton of our new Principal Guest Conductor Jaime Martín. Opening with Brahms’ musical thank you – his Academic Festival Overture.
