Radio 4 Appeal
Claudia Hammond makes the Radio 4 Appeal on behalf of War Child UK, a specialist charity supporting children affected by conflict. For over 30 years it has worked globally to protect, educate, support mental health, and stand up for children鈥檚 rights. It now works in 14 countries, including Ukraine.
War Child helps children process trauma through art, play and sport, and begin healing through specialist mental health care.
It costs around 拢20 to provide one of these group sessions for children in Ukraine.
