Episode 61
Sìleas and Marsaili's first customer turns out to be an elderly lady, who has a rather mysterious air about her. The girls introduce themselves and set sail. The woman is silent.
As the shore fades into the distance, the lady produces a good deal of fishing equipment from her large bag. The girls immediately begin to explain that the day is sold as a sightseeing trip, not a fishing expedition.
The explanation is met with continued, relaxed silence from the woman, who carries on with the task of organising her lines. In what seems like no time, the boat is awash with an impressive catch of delightful looking fish. And the haul continues!
Agog, Sìleas and Marsaili are about to enquire about their passenger's impressive skill when she speaks.
"This venture is not for you. Turn your attentions to the castle."
Having spoken, the lady immediately, lies down and sleeps in the late afternoon sunshine. Unnerved, Sìleas and Marsaili take the opportunity to have a quick confab.
Marsaili: Bu chòir dhuinn smaoineachadh mu na thuirt i. Gu h-à raidh mun chaisteal. (We should think about what she said. Especially regarding the castle.)
³§Ã¬±ô±ð²¹²õ: Carson? 'S dòcha nach eil fìrinn sam bith ann. (Why? Maybe there's no truth in it.)
Marsaili: Dh'fhaodadh e bhith gu bheil i ceart. (It could be that she's right.)
³§Ã¬±ô±ð²¹²õ: Dh'fhaodadh e bhith gu bheil i ceà rr. (It could be that she’s wrong.)
Marsaili: Feumaidh sinn a thighinn gu co-dhùnadh mus dùisg i. (We need to come to a decision before she wakes up.
³§Ã¬±ô±ð²¹²õ: 'S urrainn dhuinn sin a dhèanamh. (We can do that.)
