Episode 59
Marsaili wakes to the sound of the fishing forecast blaring from the kitchen. The decision has been made and, by a slim majority, it has been decided that the girls will fish from a small boat.
Sìleas goes out to arrange boat hire while Marsaili organises some provisions and lets her imagination run away with her over the types of fish they may catch.
"Dh'fhaodadh gum faigh sinn sgadan, rionnach, bodach-ruadh, adag, cuidhteag, bà nag."
("We may catch herring, mackerel, cod, haddock, whiting, sea trout.") Marsaili tells Sìleas, as the girls meet by the shore. Sìleas looks unsure.
They are soon bobbing about amidst a small swell. The afternoon is passing pleasantly, despite having caught nothing, when Marsaili and Sìleas suddenly grin conspiratorially at each other.
