This late 16th century Elizabethan quiver is made of wood reinforced with riveted metal strips. 7750mm long by 112.5mm at the mouth, tapering to 62.5mm. It has a hinged lid but, more interestingly, it is lined inside with original 16th century wallpaper. The use of wallpaper at this time makes one think of advanced design skills and makes one question what other areas of the world were doing at this time.
