This rum bottle appears to have originated from Nassau, Bahamas, and possibly contained some reviving rum brought to Northern Ireland on a Transatlantic voyage to ease the journey. It was found in the roof space of a farm building in Knockoneill, Co. Londonderry, which was purchased by the contributor's father in 1936, where it appears to have lain for some time.
