1950 Queen's Park FC Pin Badge

A 1950's Queen's Park FC supporters pin badge. Queen's Park Football Club are an association football club based in Glasgow, Scotland. The club are currently the only amateur club in the Scottish League; their amateur status is reflected by their motto, Ludere Causa Ludendi - to play for the sake of playing. Queen's Park are the oldest football club in Scotland, having been founded in 1867, and are the oldest outside of England and Wales, and play in the oldest football stadium in the world that is still in use today, Hampden Park, Scotland's National Stadium. The club's home is one of 29 UEFA elite stadia, the all-seated Hampden Park in south east Glasgow, which is also the home of the Scottish national team. Queen's Park has won the Scottish Cup the third most times of any club, behind Rangers and Celtic, although the last time they won it was in 1893. Property of Robert Pool
